Bombs hurled at Ex-MLA Nirmal Ghosh's house in Panihati

Panic gripped the family members of former Panihati MLA Nirmal Ghosh after miscreants hurled crude bombs at his residence under the cover of darkness. The sudden and violent attack took place late at night, targeting the veteran leader's house located near the Sodepur Siding Bazar area. According to family members, the entire neighborhood was instantly filled with thick smoke immediately after the explosions, creating an atmosphere of intense fear.

Detailing the harrowing incident, the family stated that the miscreants arrived on a motorcycle from the direction of the Sodepur Siding Bazar. The attackers had taken extensive measures to conceal their identities, riding with their faces completely covered and wearing helmets to avoid being recognized. They quickly hurled a series of crude bombs directly at the ex-MLA's house before speeding away from the spot into the darkness.

Immediately following the explosions, the traumatized family contacted the local law enforcement authorities. A team of officers from the Khardah police station rushed to the scene to assess the situation and secure the area. The Khardah police have officially initiated a comprehensive investigation into the incident, collecting evidence from the site and launching a hunt to identify and apprehend the fleeing attackers.
